Artistic creation in dehumanized environments has been a little-reviewed topic in contemporary art.
In America and the Mexican context, dehumanization refers as a set of violations against citizens, that is, the annulment of the human rights of men and women, the loss of their privacy through the transparency of their finances, communications, relationships, and location, and, in some cases, the hyper-sexualization that vulgarizes their bodies. The dehumanization that takes place in Mexico aims to control the development of men and women, limit their capabilities, or direct them to specific tasks.
In these conditions, my creation of artistic works with mixed techniques began, trying to provoke unusual responses to stimulate the imagination and the desire for freedom. Consequently, as an artist, I chose not to represent the human body, due its disfigured state, where only his consciousness remains as a confused form.
