The title emphasizes immediacy and the urgency of transformation. It suggests a call to action for societal change rooted in the present moment. The boy’s suffering, Fela’s symbolic advocacy, and the chaos of fuel scarcity all converge to question how current realities can be reshaped. The use of "Here and Now" implies that transformation begins with acknowledging present struggles and taking steps toward a more equitable future.

The painting reflects themes of economic inequality, child labor, political criticism, and the power of resilience. It challenges the viewer to confront the contradictions of wealth and poverty, hope and despair, action and inaction within the Nigerian context. The piece also evokes a deep emotional response while calling for introspection on collective responsibility and societal evolution.

This work, like a visual protest, aligns with the spirit of revolutionary art bridging history, reality, and the transformative potential of activism.
